I bought a 2016 Duke 690 last weekend and it's time for the first oil change. The K&N website says to use the KN-155 so I picked up two of them at Cycle Gear down the street. When I removed the second filter from the engine I quickly realized there's two different sized filters on this bike. If my bike goes in to seasonal storage, it gets an oil change the day it's out of storage in the spring. When my bike hits the 6000 mile interval, I'll take it to the dealer for service. So, just got of with the dealership. Service intervall is 10.000 km or 12 months from last service. Whatever comes first.
