Idk if its my xbox specifically or its just xbox specific but the fps is terrible compared to when I run this game on my PS4. PS4 feels like its 30 fps all the time while on Xbox I seem to get so much stuttering and areas where the fps feels like its 20-25 or even Alright, so Dark Souls 1, or Dark Souls remastered is the one I played last. I also hear that remastered is a downgrade, which probably doesn't make a difference to me since I never played the original and I assume all the game mechanics are the same.
